As I said in the previous post… a lot is going on here at Grace!
We {the church} recently paid off our mortgage, had a ground breaking for our new parsonage, Pastor John {and Pat} retired AND we got a new pastor! **whew**
It’s been a few busy weeks!
All in God’s plan though!
I was asked to document {take pics} of all the new and exciting happenings at Grace!
First up was the mortgage burning. Yes, there was a fire in our church. No, it did not set off the fire alarms.
{that would have been funny though!}
Then, we had the ground breaking for our new parsonage.
{this picture gives me a chuckle every time I look at it. Pastor Randy looks a little intimidated!}
Here are a few of the actual “ground breaking”.
{The men filled up the pan with dirt for Pastor John to take home and pray over.}
{Just like Naaman did in 2 Kings 5:17}
Here’s Pastor John {miming} a glass jar that he will fill with dirt from Grace.
And to round off the event filled few weeks, we had a transition service.
Pete Belski {Uncle Pete’s wood toys} made this staff that the pastors will pass down as they leave. {such a cool idea!}
Our new pastor, Pastor Ken Custer!!
Prayers before the passing of the staff!
So excited to be Grace United Methodist’s NEW pastor!!
Songs of Praise!
I am so excited about everything God has in plan for our church!
